Our Baby Kong, who rolled into our lives 2 years ago with record-breaking size is now a funny little 2 year old. Although Maggie would make us laugh as a toddler, Keegan is truly a little comedian. He went from not talking much to BARKING orders. He'll shout out "UP HIGH" when he wants to sit on my grandma's stool, rather than a chair. "MY'S" is another command which means he wants to do it. He recently switched from calling Maggie "Mae Mae" to a full up "Maggie" with an emphasis on the G. He loves our friend's two boys Jack and Cooper (Pepper to Keegan) and will cry if he doesn't get to see them. Here he is with his birthday hat and a super excited sister.
He likes to share and if I get him a special treat he'll make sure I get one for Maggie too. He's got two super soft blankies that he'd do anything for. He goes down easily to sleep and pulls a solid 12 plus hours at night along with a good nap. He still won't drink milk but will go to town on some yogurt, especially Grandpa's favorite coffee yogurt. He's all about balls, and even sleeps with a ball in his bed. He loves to throw, kick, and catch. This usually entails knocking over a wine glass or too.
And not to brag, but this little boy is POLITE! He says "Tank You" and "Peas" every time. Like every time. If you bring him something, say his cereal and walk away he'll yell "TANK YOU" at you until acknowledged. Don't mention the word cookie around him, he won't stop yelling it until he gets one.
Here are Daddy and Keegan Skyping with cousin Addie and Uncle Tom and his godmother Lisa.
Keegan loves baths and will stay in there for an hour if allowed. He's not a huge eater, but when he wants to eat you'll know because he'll order to "EAT NACK" (snack) and then point to food and say "MOUTH" meaning he wants it in his mouth. And now. He loves Elmo, and Seasame Street is my unpaid sitter if I need an hour break from the blonde wrecking ball. He also loves "how to Train a Dragon" and asks for it by saying "Watch ROAR, watch ROAR"
To Keegan, if he has one sock and needs a second sock, that second sock is then a 'BLUE' sock. Say I give him one yogurt but he wants another flavor, he'll yell, "NO, BLUE yogurt"! We were at the gym and there was a baby there- he asked me "Connor?" and I said, "No, Keegan that's not Connor! That's another baby!" then he replied "Oh, Blue Connor". Interesting how his mind works. Keegan is also very obedient and if you tell him something he'll say "oh Tay!" and go with the flow. Poor guy got shirked on his birthday this year as it was the day of Connor's surgery... he still got to celebrate with a cupcake though
Stats: Um, gotta find them. We love you Boo Boo bear!

Under the Knife
The big C has had an issue with an infection on his rump. After some failed antibiotics and an unsuccessful lancing attempt or two, the final decision was that he had to have surgery. And he was a CHAMP! Here is the cute kiddo pre-op. He was smiling away even though I had to wake him at 4am and he wasn't allowed to eat for about 10 hours straight!
We had an hour and a half from our pre-op until the actual surgery. He stayed entertained in the sink-
Here we are right before they put him under. Poor guy was smiling until the end. He was not however smiling upon wake up! It took him a good 30 minutes to get back to himself and then he took a super dooper long nap.
Smiling once again. They let us head home and he's been healing ever since. Post op is today, I'll keep you posted.

XMAS 2010 part two
After a serious naptime we headed north (1 block) to the Zemans to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Connor latched on to the cool kids- literally. Here he is with our favorite Cooper, Riley and Emily.
My Mom and Dad sent Connor this cute outfit this summer- luckily he still fit into it!
Here was the downstairs crowd. Maggie got a new camera from Aunt Molly and Uncle Dave which she proceeded to take over 400 pictures with. Like a real digital camera but it has more padding than a hockey goalie- so kids can drop it and it still works! Of the 400 pictures I had to go back and delete about 350!
Our little Connor just fitting in perfectly with Bree and Brian!

XMAS 2010
Just a few pics to remember an awesome, crazy morning. 3 kids in PJs, happy as could be after opening only one present. For some reason they didn't understand that there were more!
Same kids, different angle:
The before picture. As usual, Connor and I were the only ones up at 5am. How about that one giant ornament in the middle of the tree?
So sad- the after picture. We did recycle, but it is a little upsetting the amount of cardboard and batteries that go into a Merry Christmas...
Our favorite present from 2010- the sweetest little boy around. Here he is happy as a lark on 25 dec and the poor guy had surgery on 28 Dec! Doing well!

'twas the nite before...
Holidays make it tough to post! Here are our three cute little elves before heading out for Christmas service. I should say Christmas Mass, but this year we opted to try out a different religion. It was much quicker, they had candles for the kids to light (Keegan chucked his a few rows back and Maggie got some burn spots from spilled hot wax), they had home made cookies for after the service and it only lasted 45 minutes! Whew! Well it worked for us this year even if it means I don't get to go to Heaven anymore.
Here are the kids putting out 'reindeer food': oats and sprinkles. Musta worked cuz Santa came! We also put out cookies and milk and later Maggie told me that next year she wants to put out BEER for Santa. I guess she's figuring out who Santa really is. Um, red wine please and dark chocolate!
5 Mulloys on Xmas eve:
We got together with a group of friends and their kids and made it Mexican Food night for Xmas eve. Non-traditional, but super fun. All the kids got one present to open and it was jammies. So fun to see, from a 13 year old excited about her new jammies down to 6 month old Connor!
The pre-kid shot: (well, baby snuck in the picture but he doesn't really know what's going on)
Let the Chaos Begin!
